Alex is an Investor at Notion Capital where he focuses on deal origination and evaluation with a focus on machine learning.
Prior to joining Notion, Alex joined the IBM Watson Ecosystem in its early days, helping set up their partnership program in London as employee number one for Europe. He served as the Business Development Lead for EMEA where he opened new markets and forged cognitive alliances with early stage tech firms. He began his career as an IT Strategy Consultant at IBM, focusing on banking and mobile payments in emerging markets. Prior to that he learned the difficulties of starting a company the hard way, by watching his second business go down in flames.
Alex holds an B.A. in Economics from McGill University.
